The butterfly wings are basically made out of flowers and its one of the busiest most satisfying designs ive worked with. Each wing section has its own floral pattern, small blooms and petals that sit inside the wing outline rather than just filling with a plain colour. The body and antenna are clean and simple at the centre which gives your eye a place to rest against all that colour.
Nine colours including soft lavender, coral pink, warm yellow, mint green, and lighter cream highlights, with dark outlines keeping everything separated and legible. Stitch count goes from nearly 30k at 3.5 inches up to almost 61k at 7 inches. Dense at 1432. This is a proper marathon stitch project at the larger sizes, your machine needs a good cutaway stabiliser and the fabric needs to be completely flat before hooping.
Eight sizes from 3.5 to 7 inches wide, heights from 3.04 to 6.08 inches. People have been ordering this for spring and easter season but honestly it works all year on anything garden or nature themed. My customers use it for everything from market tote bags to nursery wall hoops to mothers day gifts, one customer asked me last spring if she could use it on fabric bunting and I said yes absolutely it looks brilliant on cream cotton panels.
Best on white, cream, or pale pastel fabrics where the colours show up at full brightness. Stitch on cotton, canvas, or light denim. Use a cutaway stabiliser even on woven cotton here because the fill density is high enough that a tearaway wont hold registration through all nine colours. Avoid dark fabrics unless you want a very different look from the design preview image.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
