Alot of my best-sellers are the ones where I just went a bit wild with colour, and this cat face is one of those. Eleven colours: turquoise, hot pink, lime green, golden yellow, deep purple, and enough neutral tones to keep the face readable. The eyes are the centrepiece, big outlined irises in contrasting brights that make the whole thing feel alive. Whiskers in fine satin stitching radiate out from the muzzle and if youre careful with the tension they stay sharp even on textured fabric.

Four sizes here, from 4.5 x 4.46 inches up to 7.5 x 7.43 inches. Stitch counts run 38,983 to 66,158, the density is 1187 which is genuinely high so you cant skip the cutaway stabiliser on this one. The underlay on the face fill is built heavier than usual because I needed it to handle all the colour changes without the base shifting. Bobbin tension matters alot here, if youre seeing the top stitches pull down at the colour boundaries, loosen the bobbin a fraction before you re-run the affected section. Dont rush through the whisker passes, those fine satin lines are what sells it.

A customer messaged me last march after stitching this at 6.5 inches on a denim vest back, she said the colours were even better than the preview image. Stitch it on a firm woven or denim for best results at the larger sizes, the density needs something to grip. Use a topping if your fabric has any pile or texture so those whisker satin lines come out clean. And honestly its the design where fabric colour choice matters, try it on black denim or deep navy for maximum impact.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
