Best fabrics are quilters cotton, kona solid, canvas and linen-cotton blends in cream, red, dark green or charcoal so the bulbs pop. Use medium cutaway behind the design and a layer of water-soluble topping on anything with texture. Skip fleece or sherpa, the satin colour fills will sink into the pile and youll lose the bulb shape.
