Colorful Cloud Rainbow Stream Embroidery Design, Storm Pour Pattern

Heres the colorful cloud rainbow stream and its proper moody and dreamy at the same time. A stacked tower of stormy clouds in plum purple, lavender, navy and charcoal grey sits at the top, then pours downward into ribboned streams of pink, coral, teal, mustard yellow and lilac. Small teardrop raindrops scatter on either side in mixed colours and a tiny crescent moon peeks at the top right.

Colour count hits 19 which sounds wild, lemme tell ya it stitches smoother than expected. The cloud cluster uses layered satin fills with a smooth highlight gradient so each puff reads three dimensional. The pouring streams are kinda the show here, ribbon like satin columns that twist as they fall, teal swirling under the pink and mustard wrapping around the lower edge. The raindrops have a tight outline shadow giving em a soft dimensional drop look.

I built this for boho fashion shops and lil weather themed kids merch lines. Last spring a customer ordered the 10 inch size for a denim jacket back panel run and the streams looked like wet paint pouring down the cotton, she texted pictures of the jacket hanging at her market stall. Its been a pretty steady seller for that kinda artsy fashion crowd ever since.

Stitch on light or mid tone fabric so the colours stay readable, the navy clouds need a bit of contrast to hold their edge against the rainbow streams. White cotton works, oatmeal linen works, dusty pink twill is gonna look killer. Skip black entirely, the navy tops just dissapear into the fabric. Pure art.

Use a heavy weight cutaway because density tops out at 72k on the 10 inch run, hoop snug. Slow the machine across the streams area, alot of directional shifts in there. 19 colour swaps means a long sit at the machine, batch a coffee. Worth it.
