Two dolphins leaping out of a circular water splash, the bigger one behind and higher, the smaller one in front just clearing the surface. Both done in a realistic sky blue with a lighter grey-white belly that wraps under the jaw and along the underside, and a small red dot for the eye. Mouths are slightly open which gives em that classic happy dolphin expression. Behind them the background is a big oval paint-splash shape divided into rainbow colour blocks, yellow at the top, through green, teal, blue, magenta, orange and red, with dripping drops scattered around the outer edge like the colours bled outward.
Fifteen colours, 14 thread swaps, because each rainbow section is its own colour. At the 7-in top size this runs to 42k stitches. The skins use directional fill running along the body axis to give a smooth curved look rather than a pixelated fill. My niece had me do this one on her pool bag last summer and she gets compliments on it every swim session, shes very proud of it.
Best on white, cream or black fabric. On white the rainbow background pops. On black the rainbow sections glow and the white belly reads against the dark ground. Ive done this on a navy tee aswell and the blue body nearly disappears into the navy so Id avoid that specific combo.
Pair no-show mesh on white cotton, it keeps the back clean and lets the design sit flat. For stretchy jersey on beach bags go with a firm cutaway. Hoop with at least a 1-inch margin on all sides because the paint splash border stitches very close to the edge. Skip over-hooping on smaller sizes or you risk losing the outer drips. Send me a note if the border lands outside your hoop area on the small size and Ill resize the splash for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
