Colorful floral on a single stem, tall and upright, with this big open bloom at the top. The petals are that warm golden yellow with a coral flush right at the centre where they meet, and then there are these two cornflower blue petals tucked in behind the main cluster, which is what makes the colour story interesting. Doesnt look like a flat graphic. The directional stitching follows each petal shape so the thread catches the light differently across the bloom.

And the stem is a real teal green, not just a flat line. Theres a small bud off to the side and two broad leaves at the base, all done in the same teal but with lighter and darker shading running through the stitches. Eight colours total, nine sizes ranging from 3.51 inches up to 7.51 inches wide. Stitch counts sit between 9,515 on the smallest and 20,746 on the biggest.

I built this one last spring for a customer who runs a small wedding florist stall and wanted something to put on her canvas market aprons and tote bags. Botanical but not stiff was the brief, the kind of thing you might find tucked in an old sketchbook rather than clipped from a commercial wallpaper. Thats the brief I was digitising to. I still get orders from gardeners, craft sellers and florist shops that want a clean floral to personalise table runners and gift bags.

Run it on cream linen or undyed canvas, the warm yellows really glow against natural fibre. Scale to 7.5 for a full tote bag front, or keep it smaller and hoop ona teatowel, or use a smaller 4-inch on a blouse front. Skip white polyester, the teal reads flat on bright white fabric and you lose the depth in the stem. Go with a standard tearaway on woven linen and youre set.

Satin columns on the petal edges need steady tension so slow your machine down a fraction for those runs. The 20k stitch count on the big size is manageable on any mid-range home machine, just hoop snug. Hit me up if the file gives trouble and ill get it sorted out same day.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
