Worked up this one for the warmer months, it reads like something youd see chalked on a beachside sandwich board. HELLO sits across the top in chunky teal block capitals, slightly arched, with small green leaf sprigs tucked in on both sides. Below it Summer drops in a big looping pink cursive script, the lowercase letters have those long swooping descenders that push down into the cluster of five hot-pink daisy flowers at the bottom. Scatter dots and small circles in the same pink fill the gaps around the flowers. its one of the ones where theres a lot going on but it doesnt feel cluttered because those two colours dont fight each other.

Five colours in the run, six colour changes across five stops. Teal-aqua for the HELLO caps, a coral accent on some letterform fills, light pink for the main script, hot magenta for the flowers and dots, bright green for the leaf sprigs and flower centres. Density sits at 400, which keeps the satin script letters full but not boardlike. Six sizes from 2.23 inches at 6,283 stitches up to just under 6 inches at 18,989 stitches. 55 trims in the file, the scatter dots are worth it.

My husband bought me a plain white tote last summer and I stitched the 4-in chest on the front as a test piece, just to see how the pink script sat against white canvas. It came out really clean. He then asked me to make the same thing on a matching one for his sister, who apparently uses it for everything now. That white cotton canvas is honestly the best ground for this one, the teal and pink both pop without fighting each other.

Run a layer of medium tearaway under stable woven canvas or cotton twill for the standard hoop sizes. Use a cutaway at the full 6-inch run on thicker fleece or sweatshirt cloth so the satin fills dont pull with washing. Hoop tight on the scatter dot and flower sections, the small fills shift if there's any slack in the frame. Skip very dark fabrics because the light pink script wont read well without swapping thread colours.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
