A bunch of heart-shaped balloons all tied together on strings, each heart a different colour from the rest. You got pinks, reds, purples, corals, maybe a yellow or orange in there too, 16 colours total so theres alot going on colour-wise. The balloons sit at slightly different heights and angles like theyre actually floating, not just lined up in a row. And thats what gives the whole thing that party-gift feeling.

With 16 colors and up to 27,577 stitches at the 6.57 inch size this is one of the more complex ones I offer in the valentine range. Stitch count starts at 11,280 at 3 inches wide. Density is at 559 so each balloon gets proper fill without the satin going sheer. Youll need a good cutaway stabiliser on this one, the colour change count is high and the thread volume adds up. Hoop your fabric tight before you start, any movement mid-stitch will shift the balloon colours out of register.

One customer last february making gift bags for a kids valentines party sent pictures, 6.5 inch size on white cotton gift bags, looked brilliant. Pop it on white or cream for maximum colour impact. Skip pale pastels as the base fabric because you lose the lighter balloon colours. Keep your bobbin thread neutral, white or light grey works with most of the colours in this design.

Use the chest 3.5 on a card insert or small gift tag fabric. Try the larger 6.5 inch size featured on a tote or a party banner panel. Send me a chat note message if any of the 16 colour changes give you trouble and Ill walk you through it.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
