This ones got a lot going on, in the best way. The hummingbird hangs mid-hover with wings fully open, showing all eleven thread colors at once. Teal head, hot pink chest, and a tail thats fanned out in deep navy and burnt orange. Wings layer four different blues so each feather section reads as a seperate element, almost like stained glass when the whole thing is hooped up.

At the smallest size its around 2.5 by 3.5 inches and tops out near 5.5 by 7.5 at the largest. Stitch counts go from roughly 9,300 up to just over 20,000. I get messages from bird lovers saying the vivid colors came out better than they expected, even on smaller sizes. And honestly the color blocking does most of that work. Stitch the smaller version on a pocket or pouch and people assume its the big one. Last month my niece put the 4.5 inch run on a tote for her science teacher and it looked completely professional. Thats the kind of result that justifies picking a complex design.

Lay tearaway behind woven fabrics and youll be fine. Skip dark fabric on this one. All that teal and pink genuinely vanish against navy or black, and youd loose the whole point of picking an eleven-color design. Stick to white, cream, or pale pastels and the whole palette sings. Pop it on a cotton tote or a linen kitchen panel and it turns heads immediately.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
