Cooked up this lip kiss heart for the customers who want somethin that really makes a statement. Up close its dozens of individual lip prints, each one a different colour, all tilting and overlapping at different angles. Step back and it reads as one big solid heart. Its got 7 colour stops which honestly does take a bit of setup at the machine but the result is completely worth it.
Colour palette goes: hot pink, yellow accent, lilac, true red, orange, light pink and dark burgundy. The yellow is just a tiny detail piece, youll barely see it but it adds a suprised pop when people look close. The density on this is 840 which is high, you need a firm cutaway stabiliser on every fabric type, I wouldnt skip that step here.
Stitch count ranges from 16,546 at 3 inches up to 41,627 at the full 7.51 inch size. The large version takes awhile to stitch, budget 30 to 45 minutes on a fast machine. 5 sizes in the download. Watch bobbin tension on the larger sizes because the density is real.
Best on white or very light coloured fabric where all 7 colours can show properly. Black fabric washes out the dark burgundy tones. Pop it on a plain white tote or a white shirt and you get the full rainbow lip effect. A customer last week said they put the 5-inch piece on a white zippered pouch and it sold out at a craft fair same day. Text me if anything goes wrong with the file.
