A raven on rocks, mostly black but with cyan-blue feathers pushin through the wings and neon-pink slashes cuttin across at an angle, like someone drew across it with a highlighter. The rocks underneath are all hot pink, so the whole thing reads like a dark bird dropped into a neon world. Blue-tipped beak, tiny red eye. Thats all 5 colors right there and its a wild combination that really works.

Nine sizes and the contrast on this one is somethin else on dark fabric. Stitch it on black denim or a dark navy hoodie and the pink and cyan just jump right out. Use a cutaway stabiliser if you're working on jersey or a stretchy base, the dense satin fill on the black body wont sit flat without it. At 4.5 inches the feather directional stitching comes through really clearly, worth goin that big if you can. Pop it in a hoop frame at the largest size and it honestly looks like wall art.

People have been buying this a fair bit lately, mostly for jacket patches and dark-style apparel. Last halloween orders came in nearly every day for it:

  • Gothic and alternative clothing patches and jackets
  • Dark-fabric hoodies and sweatshirts
  • Canvas tote bags with a moody aesthetic
  • Halloween costume accessories and bags
  • Neon wildlife themed pillows and cushions
  • Fantasy art inspired wall hoop displays
  • Poetry, writing, or literature club tees

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Gothic and alternative clothing patches and jacketsThe hot pink rock base pops against a black denim jacket really well
  • Dark-fabric hoodies and sweatshirtsA 5- or 6-inch version on a dark hoodie chest looks bold without being noisy
  • Canvas tote bags with a moody aestheticThe neon colour combo suits the kind of tote someone in an alternative crowd carries
  • Halloween costume accessories and bagsThe gothic edge makes it more interesting than a standard Halloween motif
  • Neon wildlife themed pillows and cushionsThe neon-and-black palette looks great on a grey or cream cushion cover
  • Fantasy art inspired wall hoop displaysFramed in an embroidery hoop this reads as proper wall art
  • Poetry, writing, or literature club teesRavens have a long literary association, this works for bookish types too

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
