Designed this one for the kids and fantasy range, gonna be honest I kinda really love how this one turned out. Thirteen colours sounds scary but theyre all kinda just zoned into distinct areas, the body is white satin fill, the mane is banded rainbow, and the horn is a separate warm gold column. Stitch density is 98 which is deliberately lower than my usual florals, it keeps the fabric from going stiff and works genuinely well on the lighter cotton materials most kids items use.
Six sizes run from 2.72 inches wide up to 5.81 inches, and heights go 3 reaching 7.5. Hoop the smaller versions on a 4x4 frame with no adapter needed. Run tearaway under stable woven fabrics, and add a water-soluble topping if ya stitching on fleece or terry cloth so the satin sections dont sink into the pile. I set the underlay in the digitising to compensate for pull, so dont add extra passes manually or it can distort the mane shape.
One customer ordered the 4-inch for a unicorn-themed birthday party bundle, she was making little felt bags and said they came out adorable. Send me a quick note if a colour in the file shows wrong on your software preview and Ill check the thread map for you.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Kids birthday party felt bagsUse the 3-inch on small felt party bags, tearaway backing presses out cleanly on non-stretch felt.
- Girls bedroom cushion coverThe 5-inch on a cotton cushion cover centred looks cheerful and holds up through regular washing.
- Cotton baby blanket cornerStitch the 3-inch in the corner of a white baby blanket, light tearaway and water-soluble topping keeps loops neat.
- Fantasy backpack front patchThe 4-inch fits the front pocket of most kids backpacks, medium cutaway keeps it structured.
- Children's sweatshirt chestRun the 5-inch on a kids cotton sweatshirt, hoop with a cutaway for best durability through washes.
- Nursery wall hoop displayMount the 5.81-inch in a round frame for a colourful nursery wall piece that doesnt need any background.
- Unicorn-themed gift pouchMake a small drawstring pouch with the 3-inch centred on cotton canvas for a birthday gift filler.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
