Seven colours, 11,628 stitches, 3.38 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall. Its kinda the opposite of minimalist halloween, orange, purple, green, yellow and more all showing up in one composition. professional embroidery software handled the digitising at a density of 152 and all seven colours are properly sequenced to minimise thread changes and re-hooping time.
I made it specifically for kids halloween gear. A customer wrote me back in october and said she was making trick-or-treat bags for her daughters whole class and needed something that worked on canvas bags without looking dull. She recieved the files, ran them on natural canvas bags and emailed me the result, every colour came out clean with cutaway stabiliser and topping underneath. Thats really the key with multi-colour fills: cutaway plus topping on canvas, no exceptions.
Hoop tight. Near-square means your fabric needs to sit evenly on all sides or you'll get corner distortion at 11k stitches. Use medium cutaway, add a single sheet of water-soluble topping on canvas or textured woven fabric. Skip lightweight tearaway, the base needs to be stable for a multi-colour run like this. Check bobbin tension before you start stitching because theres no good time to notice a problem mid-way through a colourful composition like this one.
Great for kids party tote bags, halloween costume patches sewn onto backpacks, trick-or-treat pillow cases and matching sibling shirt sets. Stitch it on cotton canvas aprons too if youre doing a halloween cooking theme. Best on medium-weight woven fabric; very lightweight fabric will pucker under the seven-colour density.
