Got this one done last spring and its been one of my favourite florals in the whole catalog. The design is a big lush heart shape, and its built entirely out of wildflowers packed tight together. Youve got pink cosmos with little orange centres, deep dark blue petals that look almost indigo on fabric, yellow daisy-type blooms scattered through the middle, and these tall magenta spiky ones I realy love. Alot of green fern leaf detail fills the gaps so nothing looks sparse.

professional tools digitising means the satin petals sit flat and the directional fill on the leaves actually looks like leaves. Across the mid-hoop print thats 23,301 stitches and 9 colour changes, and the density sits at 636 stitches per square centimetre so everything reads clean. Stitch it on a cutaway stabiliser, not a tearaway. The overlapping flower sections need that extra backing or youll get distortion at the edges. Use a topping on fleece or terry cloth so the petal detail doesnt sink in.

Pair it with white linen, cream cotton or a pale sage green and those 10 thread colours really sing. Ive seen customers put the 8 inch version on queen duvet covers and the scale just works perfectly. Pop it centred on a tote bag. Add it to a baby blanket border. Stitch it on a throw pillow front panel.

Heres what I love about the wildflower look versus a formal rose design. Its messy in the right way. No two blooms sit at the same angle, the stems cross over each other, and the whole thing has that just-picked-from-a-field energy. But the underlay is tight and the bobbin tension was set for woven fabric so it stitches out neat even if it looks casual. A customer wrote me recently saying she put the 8 inch on a cream linen market bag and people kept stopping her to ask where she bought it.

Holler if you need a different colourway swap suggestion and Ill walk you through which stops to change.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
