Heres a cool bird in pink shades and honestly its kinda the dumbest sweetest thing. Big bird with a tall mohawk of pink and blue feathers, a long curved hot-pink beak, and chunky aviator sunglasses parked on his face. Behind him a horizontal sunset gradient runs through mustard yellow on top, hot pink and lavender in the middle, and electric blue at the base. Pure 80s synthwave vibes.
This is a high-density piece. Sixty thousand stitches at the 7.5 max size, twelve colour blocks, and the bird body uses directional fill so the feathers look genuinely textured rather than flat. Beak and shades have crisp satin edges. The sunset bands behind him are wide tatami fills with deliberate seams between colours so you can see the stripe transitions.
I designed this back in june for a customer customising hats for a beachside cocktail bar in florida, she wanted something funny that wasnt the usual flamingo or pineapple. The mohawk feathers and the shades was her brief, lemme tell ya the staff loved it. They been reordering caps every two months since. Apparently the regulars now ask for em by name.
Stitch on bold dark fabric so the synthwave colours sing. Black, charcoal, deep navy or burgundy work best. White or pale grey kinda works but the lavender and mustard get washed out. Skip patterned cloth completely, theres alot going on in the gradient already and stripes will fight with those colour bars.
Density runs heavy so use a heavyweight cutaway stabiliser, no compromise. Hoop tightly and run topping on towelling or fleece, the long directional fills on his torso need a clean surface to land on. Trim the colour-change jumps because there are 12 colour stops and lazy trims show through pink. Send a stitchout photo if a colour reads grainy on cotton.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
