A husky wearing a blue hoodie with the hood up and a pair of aviator shades, lenses done in aqua with an orange mountain reflection in em. Open mouth, attitude, the whole thing. Ive had more questions about it than almost anything else I make, people see it at a market stall last spring and start asking where they can get the file.

Punched the file in industry tools. The fur runs in directional fill layers, grey on top of white underlay, so it actually reads like fur texture when you pull it out of the hoop, not just flat satin. The hoodie is navy and blue with some darker shading on the folds, and the brown aviator frame sits on top clean. Use a heavy cutaway stabiliser underneath, at 1,379 density thats not a design you want shifting mid-stitch. Avoid tearaway on fleece for this file, it wont hold through the whole run. Email me if you need a recommendation for your specific fabric weight.

One customer hooped the 7.5-inch file on a grey sweatshirt and the grey fur blends into the fabric in the best way, makes it look like the dog is part of the shirt. Stitch it on a black fleece blanket for a dog lover gift. Pop it on a canvas tote for an instant conversation starter. 4 sizes, 34,723 stitches at the smallest up to 63,363 at the largest, a lot of thread, probably 463 feet on the big size, so wind a few extra bobbins before you start.

Add it to a dog-owner gift or a husky fan set, or just stitch it because its genuinely funny. Email me if the file has any issues and Ill fix it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Husky owner hoodies and sweatshirtsGrey husky fur blends into grey sweatshirt fabric so the portrait looks built into the shirt
  • Dog lover tote bags and canvas bagsThe 4-in build drops on a tote front pocket cleanly without crowding the edges
  • Pet accessories pouches and grooming bagsWorks on a zip pouch for dog grooming tools, practical and funny at the same time
  • Funny gift items for dog ownersPair with a punny dog-owner mug or keychain for a complete gift set
  • Fleece blankets for dog-themed bedroomsThe 7.5-inch fills a fleece blanket panel with enough detail to see the sunglass reflections
  • Cap and hat front panels for dog fansThe 4.5 version works on a 6-panel cap front well with heavy cutaway for cap stabilisation
  • Dog breed club merchandiseGreat for husky rescue groups or breed club event merchandise

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
