Santa face inside a peace sign circle, but santa is wearing sunglasses and looking very relaxed about the whole christmas thing. The peace symbol lines run across and down through the circle, dividing it into sections, and santas face fills the middle with his big white beard spreading out to the sides. Its a pop art take on the usual jolly santa, more laid back than merry.

8 colours in total: the red hat at the top, white trim and beard sections, a warm peach for the skin, black frames on the sunglasses with yellow tinted lenses, and the navy blue peace circle outline. The design runs across 5 sizes from 3.5 inches wide to 7.5 inches. Stitch counts go from just under 25k at the small end up to 66k at the largest, the big version has alot of dense beard coverage.

Pop a firm cutaway behind any stretch fabric, the beard sections pack heavy satin fills and they will bunch on knit without proper backing. Best results on sweatshirt fleece or a sturdy cotton twill where the satin columns lay flat. Skip thin jersey on the biggest size.

I get messages every year right before christmas asking for a santa design thats not too sweet or traditional. This is basically the answer to that, one customer last december ordered it for a whole group of teachers christmas shirts, they wanted something fun they could actually wear on the last day of school.

Email me your order details if the file throws an error on first load, Ill have a replacement out same day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas party shirts and sweatshirtsOn a plain black or red sweatshirt the peace sign shape reads clearly and the sunglasses detail gets noticed.
  • Teacher group holiday giftsTeacher group christmas shirts are a perfect use since the design is funny without being over the top.
  • Ugly christmas sweater projectsStitch on a bright jumper for an intentionally kitschy ugly christmas sweater night look that actually works.
  • Holiday tote bags for adultsOn a canvas tote bag it makes a good adult-friendly christmas gift that isnt cutesy.
  • Kids christmas backpack patchesA smaller version on a patch of felt or canvas can be ironed or sewn onto a kids backpack for the holidays.
  • Festive face mask or bandanaA 3.mid 5 inch on a cotton bandana makes a fun holiday accessory that photographs well.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
