For real this is the kids design that always sells. Its a chunky cartoon sun character with the classic smiley face and orange spike rays, but hes wearing pink heart shaped sunglasses with grey shaded lenses, flashing a peace sign in his right white cartoon glove and holding a single daisy in the left. Stomping forward on pink high top sneakers with little heart laces. Pure summer vibes.

The thick black outline runs heavy around the entire shape, almost like a sticker, and thats whats giving it that 90s street art feel. Eight thread colours total, the pink for sneakers and shades, orange for the rays, sand for the face fill, white for the gloves and daisy, plus dark green grey and black for the outlines. Big bold and graphc.

Made it for my niece last summer, she asked for a sun shirt with sunglasses on it. Now I get messages from mums every spring wanting it for school year end gifts and toddler camp shirts. Stitches sweet from 3.5 inches 7.5-in span, the pink sneakers stay readable even at the small end.

One thing to know up front. Heavy. Were talking 20932 stitches on the 3.5 inch up to 56381 on the biggest. The dense outlining alone runs over 12000 stitches because every part has a thick border. Pin a really beefy cutaway underneath, this design demands it. A lighter base will pucker on a tee shirt for sure.

Best on a thick cotton or a heavy jersey. Skip thin chiffon and skip waffle cloth, the dense fill wont sit right on those. White, soft pink, sage green or pale yellow shirts let the orange sun face pop hardest. Drop in a 75/11 sharp, polyester thread at 40 wt, take the foot pedal slow when you hit the heart sunglass lenses. The lens shading has small angled fills packed in tight. Worth the slowdown.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
