My sister stitched this cowboy horse sunset design on a canvas weekender bag last month and it looked like something youd pay a lot more for in a boutique. The whole design is contained in a semicircle, like a badge or patch shape, and inside its a full western landscape. A glowing orange sky with horizontal satin stripes fading from bright orange at the top down to amber and rust near the horizon. White circle off-centre for the sun disc. Mountain ridge and dark pine trees silhouetted across the middle distance. And right in front of the disc, that classic cowboy on horseback shape in solid black, small enough to read as a clean icon without getting lost in the scene.

Run a layer of medium woven cutaway under this one, density is 1,523 and the sky sections carry the most thread. The horizontal satin striping is what makes it glow but it also means the backing has to be absolutely stable, so dont use tearaway.
