Sketched this cozy season lettering with the COZY in chunky outlined block letters and the word Season running across in dark cursive script. Each block letter pulls a different fall colour. Pumpkin orange C, warm beige O, rusty red Z and a dusty mauve pink Y, so the word reads as four shades right off the bat.
The COZY letters dont have an inside fill, just the thick outline, so the fabric colour shows through the middle of each character. Thats what keeps the stitch count down to 6.5k at the smallest size, makes it run fast on busy days. The Season script then sits on top in a flowing hand lettered style with thicker down strokes. Probably the cleanest way to layer block and script without the whole thing turning muddy.
One customer ordered the file in september for her small sweatshirt shop in oregon and shes already come back twice for october runs. Best results on a tan, oatmeal, or cream sweatshirt where the fall colours sing and the dark cursive lands without fighting the background. Honestly its the easiest lettering Ive listed in a while since theres no fill work to slow it down.
Comes in 5 sizes from 3.51 inch up to 7.51 inch wide, kept under 2 inches tall for most sizes since the lettering is wider than it is high. Stitch range 6.5k to 14.8k, runs fast for a fall design with this much colour going on.
Hoop on a piece of medium weight Run woven cotton with tearaway, swap to a soft cutaway stabiliser for any sweatshirt fleece. Skip white fabric because the pale beige O letter will dissapear into it. Pop a layer of water soluble topping over heavy french terry to keep the script crisp.
