Curious puppy sniffing is what it sounds like, a lil shaggy pup bent down with his nose to the ground checking out a smell. Hes drawn in profile so you see the full silhouette, tail pointed up, ears flopped forward over the eyes, back arched as he leans into whatever caught his attention. Looks like a moment captured from a kids storybook honestly.
Done in 3 colours total, bold red satin fill covers the back patches and the head, white fur shows through where the fabric does the work, and a thin black outline draws the feathered fur strokes around the silhouette. A small brown patch on the nose tip and a brown squiggle for the ground he is sniffing complete the scene.
9 sizes total, smallest is 3.21 inches across for a sleeve cuff or pocket, largest hits 6.88 inches wide for the centred chest piece. Stitch counts run 5k to 16k which keeps even the biggest one quick to stitch on home machines.
I get loads of orders for kids birthday tees with this one, particularly for boys turning 4 and 5. One customer messaged me last week aswell, she said her daughter named her stuffed dog after seeing the embroidered version on her cousins birthday tshirt. Thats the kinda story that lands with me.
Best on cotton, jersey, fleece and lightweight canvas. Skip thin polyester since the red fill is dense enough to pull. Pop light tearaway woven and a soft cutaway on knit so the feathered outline edges stay crisp. Pre wash white or pale fabric so the red satin doesnt bleed across into the lighter fur areas first wash.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
