Small round pumpkin with a curled stem and two little leaves sitting on top, the whole shape is that classic cartoon pumpkin silhouette but with a softer rounder quality that reads younger and sweeter than a graphic halloween design. The rib lines running down the body are stitched in a slightly deeper terracotta on the orange base, which gives the pumpkin shape proper three-dimensional reads without needing a shadow fill. Below the pumpkin the phrase Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch comes out in a casual handwritten font, not perfectly straight, which is exactly right for the vibe.
Five thread colours, warm pumpkin orange for the body, sage green for leaves and stem, light terracotta for the rib shadows, warm brown for the phrase lettering, and the fabric shows through as the base. Density at 511 stitches per square inch is on the lighter side which makes sense, this isnt a dense graphic piece, its a clean and simple design meant to sit lightly on baby cotton without stiffening the garment at all.
4 sizes from 2.09 to 4.59 inches wide, so all the sizes are relatively compact. Thats deliberate for a design like this because its mostly gonna end up on small items: onesies, bibs, booties, small gift bags. I get messages on this one every september from people making first halloween outfits, and the thing they always say is how fast it stitches out. The professional embroidery software digitising at the smallest size is impressively clean given the font has a handwritten wobble to it.
Use lightweight tearaway on woven cotton baby fabric. Keep your needle sharp and drop the presser foot speed for the smaller sizes. Add topping on terry cloth bibs, the pumpkin rib satin columns will sink into the loops otherwise and you lose the shadow detail.
