Three big block letters, D-A-D, done in that classic varsity letterman style, the kind of thick double-outline look you'd see on a high school jacket patch. Each letter has a wide outer satin border and then a second inner outline running inside it, so theres that layered dimensional feel even though its not solid fill. Very bold, very graphic. No extra decoration, just the 3 letters taking up the whole space.
4 sizes from 3.55 inches up to 5.66 wide and 8 inches tall, with 4 thread colors in the file. Stitch counts go from 7,328 at the smallest up to 12,336 at full size. Density is 272, so its not a heavy stitch-out, a medium-weight tearaway or cutaway both work fine. Try white letters with a black border on a dark polo shirt, or go all-black on a khaki cap for that understated look. Pop it on a towel at the 3 in micro for a quick practical gift.

I designed this one specifically for people who wanted a gift that reads a bit more like a sports jersey than a cute novelty. One customer last june stitched it onto a matching set of polo shirts for 3 brothers giving to their dad and it looked like something off a proper sports kit.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Father's Day polo shirts and button-downsThe 5-inch size centered on a polo chest works really well, varsity style sits naturally on that fabric.
- Dad baseball caps and trucker hatsA baseball cap front panel takes the 3 in micro perfectly.
- Sports bags and gym bags as a giftStitch it on a canvas gym bag for a no-fuss practical gift.
- Kitchen aprons for dads who cookA black design on a natural linen apron looks clean and masculine.
- Matching family gift sets with kids shirtsMake matching shirts for the whole family, kids in a smaller font, dad in the bold varsity version.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
