Four daffodil blooms and 4 colours in a single cluster of stems. The outer petals on each flower spread wide and flat, most fully open, one bud still folded at the top, which gives the arrangement a sense of being caught mid-morning in a real garden. Each corona, the little cup in the centre, comes in a warmer peach and tan that sits distinctly against the surrounding yellow. Black outlines on every petal edge and the corona rims are what make it look botanical rather than cartoon, like a plate from an old garden encyclopaedia.

Four colours do the work. Yellow fills each petal face in directional satin rows that follow the petal angle. Warm peach fills the trumpet cups. The stems and long blade leaves are a deep garden green that anchors the whole piece. Black outline detail on every edge and vein. Stitch count runs between 20k on the smallest size and 34k on the 8-inch, so theres enough density to give the petals body and sheen without looking flat.

Dm me if youre working on a botanical set. I had a customer earlier this year who was building a spring garden hoop collection, she did this daffodil plus three other flower designs and asked me to check the colour matching across the files so the greens read consistent on her linen. Thats something I can do before you commit to a whole set of fabric, easy job.

Stitch on white, ivory or very pale green fabric. The yellow needs a clean background or it disappears. Skip anything patterned because the black outlines and detail need contrast to read from a distance. Hoop with mesh cutaway behind cotton and linen, the directional satin at this density level wont sit right on tear-away.

Hoop the fabric tight, not just the stabiliser. The corona cups are compact satin-fill blocks and any movement during the run shows up as a ridge where two fill sections meet. Keep your tension consistent and youll get that clean botanical look. Skip puckered or loose hooping, its just not worth the rerun.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
