Started digitising this one last spring when alot of my customers were asking for a proper garden flower that didnt look clip-art. The daisy here has six thread colours working together: white petals, golden yellow centre, two greens for the stem and leaf, plus cream and pale yellow fills that stop it looking flat. this is the kind of design that reads at alot of different sizes.

Five hooped sizes from 2.47 inches wide up to 5.26 inches wide, so you can stitch the small one on a collar patch and the largest on a tote or cushion cover. Stitch count runs from about 15,700 up to 44,500 stitches depending on size. And the density sits around 1,130, which means the petals lay nice and smooth without puckering on a mid-weight cotton. Use a cutaway stabiliser under anything stretchy, tearaway works fine on woven fabric.

Satin stitching on the petals runs the length of each one so the thread catches the light and the petals actually look separate. The centre button is built up with a dense underlay first, then the yellow fill goes over it. One customer ordered this specifically for a set of spring napkins and sent back photos, the green on white linen looked really good. Stitch it on denim, linen, canvas, fleece, pretty much anything that sits flat in the hoop.

All 8 formats in the download: CND, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VP3, XXX. Holler if a file doesnt open and Ill swap the format for one that works on your machine.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Spring table linen setSmall 2.47 inch size stitches beautifully on napkin corners, use tearaway stabiliser on woven linen.
  • Garden party tote bagThe 5.26 inch size fills a canvas tote front panel nicely, back with cutaway for durability.
  • Kids denim jacket patchMid-size 3.5 inch patch on a denim chest pocket, tight weave needs a 75/11 sharp needle.
  • Floral pillow cover accentLarge size centred on a cotton pillow cover, directional petals catch the light well.
  • Botanical wall hoop artThree sizes hooped separately and framed in embroidery hoops make a matching wall set.
  • Teacher appreciation gift bagStitch on a fabric gift bag in school colours, kids love the bright yellow centre.
  • Wedding favour pouchesSmall size on organza favour bags, tearaway stabiliser peels off clean after stitching.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
