Hanging with My Gnomies, theres three round gnomes standing in a row inside this lil christmas quote, each one wearing a tall pointy red santa hat folded over the top. Fluffy grey-white beards cover most of their faces, just orange nose-balls peeking out from below. The words Hanging with sits up top in casual brush script, my above the gnomes, and Gnomies sits below the trio in a chunky outline-only style. White sketchy snowflakes scatter around the whole layout.
Just 3 colours total, kinda simple thread setup. Red for the hats, light grey for the gnome bodies and beards, plus orange for the noses. Stitches go from 14,800 at the smallest 3.51 by 3.18 inch up to 34,670 at the biggest 7.51 inch wide version. Density at 679 medium-heavy. industry software is my build env, Ive run the satin angle along the hat folds and sketchy fill across the beard fluff, the gnomes look soft not blocky. Digitising the snowflake scatter as simple outline work means they stay crisp even at small sizes.
One customer ordered the 6 inch size last christmas for a set of besties matching christmas sweatshirts in cream cotton fleece, four of em in matching colours. She sent a photo, said the gnomies got laughs from the whole friend group at the holiday brunch. Just the kinda casual christmas energy this design carries. The 4 inch size also fits onto a tote bag or stocking front without crowding em.
Best on cotton, fleece, twill, canvas, or denim where the casual script and gnome trio can read clean. Use medium tearaway stabiliser, the medium fill needs the support but kinda nothing too heavy. Skip stretchy jersey, the script and snowflake outlines might shift under tension. Pop topping above terry or waffle so the snowflake outlines stay riding up clean. Run polyester thread for the red hats so the colour stays bright after machine washes. Pre-wind a couple of bobbins because the long script eats through em fast on the larger sizes. Centre carefully because the gnome trio sits asymmetric with the script above and below. Send a message through the shop chat if youd like me to add a custom besties name beside the trio, ill batch the merged file same evening. Theres no extra charge for that swap.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
