Knocked out this one after a customer asked if I had anything Halloween thats fun rather than spooky, something she could put on her kids school bag without it being too much. Three skeletons, arms up, completely mid-boogie, each with a carved pumpkin sitting right where the skull should be. Left one has a winking toothy grin, the middle one gets a pointy-tooth snarl, the one on the right goes full gap-tooth. Scattered around them are small bats and 6-pointed star shapes, none of them bigger than a thumbnail, just filling the background space.

3 colours total. Black for the bones, bright orange satin for the pumpkin bodies, a short tan section for the stem at the top of each head. The pumpkin fill is the nicest part realy, its a smooth satin with a gentle directional lean so the roundness actually reads. Bone sections use a lighter fill that lets a bit of fabric texture show through, which gives the skeleton that proper rattly look. professional digitising software digitising throughout.

Sizes run from 2.8 by 4 inches up to 5.58 by 8 inches. Stitch count is 10,800 at the small end and 21,800 at the big end, 3 colour changes. That mid-range density of 488 keeps the black sections from getting too heavy on lighter fabrics. A customer ironed a medium cutaway stabiliser to a natural canvas panel, stitched the 5-inch size, and told me it was the first multi-colour design shed run without any registration drift. Ping me if you get drift on your end and Ill check the tie-off sequence in the file.

Use a medium tearaway or cutaway on woven fabric. On fleece or felt, cutaway only. The orange sections need the stabiliser to stay drum-tight because satin pulls sideways if the hoop slackens mid-run. Skip glossy polyester satin fabric, the needle skip rate goes up on that weave. Cotton drill, canvas, denim or medium fleece all work well. Ping me if youre getting colour registration drift on the pumpkin heads and Ill walk through the sequence with you.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
