Honestly this is one of those designs that ya either love straight away or you dont, but the people who love it realy love it. Two skeletons in a lil dance pose, hearts floating around them, four colours total: white, black, red, and a muted pink outline on the hearts. Eight sizes from 3.5 inches wide 7 in jumbo, stitch counts from 12,083 at the smallest to 24,578 at the largest, so it runs pretty quick on most machines.

The composition is horizontal with a height range of 1.89 to 4.05 inches which is good for chest placement on adult tees. Because the figures sit side by side rather than stacked, hooped placement is easy. Use a tearaway on woven cotton but switch to cutaway stabiliser if youre putting this on stretchy jersey. The directional satin on the skeleton bones needs solid stabiliser underneath or you'll get gaps in the outline. Stitch it on black denim for a gothic-valentine look that honestly photographs really well. Pop it centred on a canvas tote at 6 inches and the width fills the front face nicely without crowding the sides.

Last february I had a bunch of orders from people doing couples costumes and matching halloween-valentine crossover items. One customer wrote me saying she stitched it on matching bags for her and her partner. Ping me a message if you want the file resent in a specific format and Ill get it to you same day.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Matching couple T-shirts for Valentine's DayThe 5-inch size sits well across the chest on adult unisex tees, use medium cutaway on jersey.
  • Gothic wedding gift tote bagsStitch on natural canvas tote at 6 inches, hearts read clearly against light backgrounds.
  • Halloween-valentine crossover hoodie designthe top 7.5 fills a hoodie front panel nicely on heavier sweatshirt fabric.
  • Zip pouch for a skeleton-lover friendAt 3.5 inches it fits a zip pouch front perfectly, tearaway works fine on woven canvas.
  • Trick-or-treat bags with a romantic twistUse the 5-in size for a thick cotton trick-or-treat bag with black thread for outline.
  • Embroidered patch on black denim jacketCut finished stitching into a patch shape, black denim is the perfect background colour.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
