Single colour black, a dandelion stem with the seed head and the seeds breaking off and floating away to the upper right. Each seed is drawn as a little individual floret on its own thin stem, scattering at different angles like a real dandelion caught in a breeze. Below and to the right the words Just Breathe are written in a loose flowing cursive script, the kind thats stylish but not fussy. Simple as designs get. But it reads with real feeling.
On white or pale fabric the seeds practically float. The thin lines in this design are where the digitising work realy shows, the seed stems are basically hairline stitching and my digitising suite kept em clean at every size. Four sizes from 3.51 inches across to 7-in.51 inches, 5k stitches on the smallest up to 11k on the largest. Low density at 252 which means the stitching sits light on the fabric and doesnt stiffen up.
Wellness studios and yoga shops are my main buyers for this one, mostly on tote bags and class kit pouches. One customer from a breathwork studio ordered the 7-inch on cream linen bags for a retreat last october and asked me to check the file first. Clean run, no jump stitch issues, all 4 sizes tested fine. The quote is just two words so the calligraphy script does all the heavy lifting and it holds up well across different fabric weights.
Use a tearaway on firm woven cotton or linen. Avoid stabiliser thats too stiff here because the thin floating seed stems need the fabric to relax naturally after stitching. Stitch on white, cream or sage cotton for the cleanest result. Try it on pale grey jersey for a softer look, just use a mesh topping so the loop stitches dont sink into the knit texture. Lighter than you expect on the hand.
