Two colours. Just the warm brown silhouette and black outline, thats all this needs because the antler shape does the work. I built this one back in october for the hunting and outdoors crowd and it alot more versatile than I expected, yes it works on camo jackets but aswell on grey office bags and navy beanies where you wouldnt expect a deer head to fit.
Nine sizes from 3.5 through to 7.5 max, stitch count runs from 2,025 at the smallest up to 27,337 at full size. Density is 75, which is light and fast stitching, so even the large sizes dont take too long. I digitised it in the digitising software and the satin column lines on the antlers are thin and precise, the definition of each tine depends on those outlines staying crisp, so Pair soft cutaway behind woven fabrics and run at medium speed on each tine tip.
And because its only 2 threads, even beginners can stitch this without thread-change anxiety. One customer ordered six of em last november for personalised hunting gifts, he said the simplicity was the point, didnt want anything fussy. Stitch it on charcoal, olive, navy, or orange fabric for that hunting-season feel. Works on cream and oatmeal aswell for a more cottage-rustic vibe. The bobbin tension has to be right on those outlines, too loose and the black bleeds into the warmer fill.
Pair it with a name or initials below for custom hunting gear. Iron-on backing on denim and canvas patches lets you position it without basting. Position the antler tips atleast a half inch from any seam or the tines can clip when the fabric is stretched.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Camo hunting jacket chest patchCamo twill hunting jacket chest at 5 inches, firm cutaway, the satin antler tines need a stable base or the tips go slightly oval after release.
- Mens wool beanie front logoWool beanie front at 3.5 inches, cutaway, slow down on the antler tips, they taper to a sharp point and rushing those passes causes thread pull.
- Canvas bag wildlife accentNatural canvas tote at 6 inches in charcoal thread rather than black, tearaway, the softer tone reads as cabin-rustic rather than gothic.
- Hunting backpack badge panelCanvas backpack badge at 5 inches, tearaway on woven, clean peel-off finish, the two-colour simplicity means this stitches out very fast.
- Cabin throw pillow centreCream linen cabin throw pillow at 7.5 inches, medium cutaway, the antler silhouette is striking as a large centrepiece on a pale base.
- Denim shirt left chest designNavy denim shirt left chest at 4 inches, tearaway, the dark navy base suits the warm brown fill nicely.
- Monogram base for hunting giftsPersonalised hunting gift canvas bag, 4-inch deer with name below stitched separately, a meaningful custom gift thats quick to produce.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
