Heres the wildflower garden border design and its been one of my favourites to draw lately. Its a horizontal sweep of mixed wildflowers, daisies with their wide open petals, those calendula style round flowers, smaller five-petal sprigs, all rising up from a continuous run of leaves and grass along the bottom.

Every single line is black outline only. No fills anywhere. The drawing leans into that hand-sketched feel, lines arent perfectly clean and the flowers sit at different heights so the top edge stays varied. I get asked alot for botanical pieces that arent too busy and this kinda fits that brief.

This summer one customer told me she texted me a photo of it stitched along the hem of a linen apron she made for her mum on mothers day. The mum apparently cried, then asked for one on a teatowel too. Customers love that the design works as a soft border, not a centrepiece.

Comes in 5 ranging 3.5-7.5 7.5 in max wide. The smaller sizes work on collar bands or sleeve cuffs, largest fits across a tote face or runs the hem of a linen tablecloth.

Single colour and low stitch count, only 5k to 9k total so the stitch out is fast. Run on linen, cotton chambray, light denim, muslin or a cotton-linen blend. Use a tearaway under woven fabrics, swap to cutaway behind anything stretchy. Skip the heavily textured terry or fleece, the fine outlines blur into the pile. Text me with the variant code if a file fails so I can resend cleanly.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Linen napkin cornersLinen dinner napkin corner set at the small version, a relaxed garden-themed detail for an outdoor lunch gathering.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
