Knocked out this dog paw bone design because the plain paw print versions I see everywhere are kinda just a bit too bare. Adding the lil bone at the base of the paw gives it something extra without making it complicated. The paw itself is solid black fill, the four oval toe pads and the bigger main pad, all filled with proper satin density. Then the bone sits right at the lower left in a bright orange, kinda tangerine shade, 2 colours and 1 colour change total.

Four sizes, smallest is 1.51 inches which is genuinely tiny for cap embroidery or pocket accents. Then 2.34 inches, and up to 4.51 inches on the large end. Stitch count on the small is 2,061 and on the large its 11,848. Digitised in my standard software with underlay on the filled sections so even the tiny paw pads hold their shape at the smallest sizes.

Im using this on a bunch of pet-themed apparel pieces. A customer last week stitched it on a whole batch of pet sitter aprons in the small size and said it came out seriously clean. Thats kinda the use I love hearing about. Heres what works fabric-wise: cotton, denim, canvas, fleece. Use cutaway stabiliser for knit fabrics, tearaway is fine for wovens. The orange bone pops nicely against black, white or grey fabric backgrounds, this piece where the colour combo does the work.

Stitch multiple small paws in a trail pattern across a pet bandana or scarf. Use the large size on a tote bag for a pet supply haul bag. Pair the petite 3.5-in on a pet owner hoodie left chest for a clean everyday piece. Avoid over-customising the fabric colour, the orange and black combo works best on neutrals.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Dog owner hoodiesthe petite 3.5-in on the left chest of a grey or white hoodie is a clean everyday dog owner piece.
  • Pet sitter apronsSmall sizes on a cotton apron look great for pet sitters, dog walkers or grooming salon staff.
  • Dog bandana scarvesStitch a row of the tiny size along a pet bandana or neck scarf for a dog that loves an outfit.
  • Pet tote bagsThe large size centred on a canvas tote makes a simple and recognisable dog lover shopping bag.
  • Dog lover cap frontsThe 1.5 inch version on the front panel of a structured cap is a subtle pet lover detail.
  • Pet birthday gift wrapsUse the mid size on a small muslin gift bag for a pet birthday treat or dog shower present.
  • Vet clinic uniform accentsThe small size repeated on a uniform shirt collar area gives a pet clinic a fun branded touch.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
