The whole heart is made of paw prints. No outline, no fill satin, the shape builds itself from about a hundred individual paws packed edge to edge. Big chunky paws along the outer curve, medium ones filling the bulk, smaller ones squeezed into the gaps, and a few tiny accent paws tucked into the corners. Some of them have heart shapes worked into the toe areas instead of the regular oval toe beans, its an easy detail to miss on first look but its there and it adds up. Four sizes available, smallest runs about 5 inches wide, largest goes to 8 inches, so there's a fit for most standard hoops.

The split is clean. Two thin parallel satin lines run straight across the widest point of the heart, leaving a rectangular gap in the centre. Thats the name zone. Add your own text in whatever font your machine has, the border frames it. Lots of people run the same design with a different dog name each time, and this border is set up for that. The gap fits short names nicely, initials, or even a year date. I get a lot of messages about this one. Last christmas I had someone doing a personalised bandana run for every dog in their extended family, its one of my most-asked-about frames for that kind of project.

Single black thread, zero colour changes, so the stitch-out is straightforward. The tricky bit is density since theres 102 trims on the small version and 110 on the larger sizes. Back with a light woven cutaway on cotton fabric and the individual paw shapes will come out with sharp definition. Use white, cream or pale grey fabric, thats the only real rule here.
