Two paw prints on white or cream fabric, rotated to face inward and arranged so they form a heart shape together. Each paw has its central pad and 4 toe beans, and when both sit side by side at the right angle the negative space reads instantly as a heart. Its a 2-colour build at a light density of 262, so this isnt a heavy stitch-out at all, ranging from 4,393 stitches at the 3.51-inch size up to 13,939 at the full 7.51-inch width.

professional digitising software drove this with soft density fill on the paw pads so the fabric doesnt stiffen up. The underlay is minimal here, designed for medium-weight woven fabrics like cotton poplin, denim, or canvas. Pop a tearaway behind structured wovens, or a lightweight cutaway for anything with stretch. Hoop the fabric square and flat, especially at the smaller sizes where the toe bean satin sections need clean placement to hold their round shape.

A customer texted me a photo last year of this stitched on a toddler hoodie in dusty rose and it honestly made my day. She did the 3.5-inch run on a cream fleece zip-up and the 2 colours looked so sharp together. Thats exactly the kind of small gift project this is suited for. Text me through the contact form if youre not sure which size works for your project and Ill point you in the right direction.

Pop this on children's clothing, pet accessories, keepsake pouches, or personalised Christmas stockings. Run a test stitch on a cotton scrap first if youre matching colours for a batch project, the 2-colour changeover point is clean but you want your thread pairing locked in before committing to a run of items.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Children's hoodies and sweatshirtsStitch the petite 3-in on a toddler hoodie in dusty rose on cream fleece, the 2-colour pairing looks sharp on light fabrics.
  • Pet bandanas and pet accessoriesUse the 3.5 or 4-inch version on cotton pet bandanas, symmetrical shape reads clearly at a small scale.
  • Keepsake pouches and gift bagsStitch onto a small cotton drawstring pouch in charcoal on white for a pet-themed gift bag or keepsake.
  • Christmas stockings for petsPlace the 5-in detail on felt or canvas Christmas stocking cuffs for pet owners who want personalised holiday items.
  • Baby onesies and nursery itemsUse the petite 3-in on infant onesies, the low density sits gently on soft jersey without stiffening the fabric.
  • Tote bags and reusable bagsCentre the 6-in print on a duck-cloth tote, the heart paw shape reads clearly as a pet lover bag.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
