Its a side-profile woman face drawn in that single continuous line style thats been all over fashion illustration lately. One unbroken black line traces the forehead, the nose, the lips, the chin, then sweeps down into the neck. Theres no fill inside the face at all, just the line itself doing everything. The feature that pulls focus is the hibiscus flower sitting right at the ear, done in satin stitch with soft pink petals that fan out wide and a starburst centre in deeper magenta. Clean and done. Total stitches sit between 3,642 on the smallest and 7,808 on the largest of 9 sizes.

I actually made this one for a fashion line launch last autumn. The studio owner wanted something minimal for tote bags and crew-neck sweaters going into her boutique. She sent photos when the first run came off the machine and honestly the pink hibiscus against a cream jersey is one of my favourite results Ive seen from a simple 2-colour run. The face line reads sharp at even the small 3.51-inch width.

Stitch it on white or oatmeal cotton for that gallery-clean look. Pale linen works realy well too if you want a more textured ground. Skip dark navy or charcoal because the black outline line art just vanishes into the fabric. Pop the medium 5-inch on a tote, the small 3.51-inch on a pocket or collar, the larger 7.51-inch on a cushion front.

Use a standard tearaway stabiliser on stable woven fabric. The stitch density is low at 201, so theres not alot of pull to manage. Thread count is minimal, basically 2 colours, which makes this a fast stitch-out. Just keep your tension balanced because single-line satin work shows uneven bobbin tension more than dense fill does. Send me message if the line art breaks up on your machine and Ill look at the file.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Fashion boutique tote bagsStitch the 5-inch design on a buff canvas tote for a fashion boutique opening and pair with a minimalist logo beneath.
  • Beauty studio branded apparelPop this on a white linen apron or uniform blouse for a beauty studio and it reads as intentional branding not just decoration.
  • Linen throw cushion coversEmbroider the 7.5-inch on a natural cotton cushion cover for a bedroom or studio and the single-line face adds gallery-wall energy.
  • Crew-neck sweater chest designCentre the 5-inch on the left chest of a cream or oatmeal sweater and the pink hibiscus brings just enough colour to the minimal look.
  • Wedding welcome bag embroideryStitch a set of small 3.51-inch versions on calico welcome bags for a wedding and line them up with the couples initials nearby.
  • Salon staff uniform pocket badgeUse the small size on a salon uniform breast pocket as a house-brand detail that clients actually notice and ask about.
  • Art print framed hoop decorHoop the design in a 8-inch wooden frame and hang it as wall art in a studio or home office above the work desk.
  • Editorial fashion photoshoot propsAttach as a framed hoop prop on a flat-lay photoshoot surface for fashion or beauty brand content alongside flowers and fabric swatches.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
