This one sells consistently week after week, I first digitised it last spring after a bunch of customers kept asking for a cat design that wasnt overly cutesy. The silhouette is clean, the seated pose is composed, and ya get a real sense of that feline aloofness in the posture. Ten colour stops, 3 colours + nine shades of black and grey across the body fill to give the fur its depth.

Five sizes from 3.5 to 7.51 inches wide, stitch count from 24,713 up to 57,774 at the largest. Density is 1,637 spi run delivering is quite high, thats intentional because the black satin sections need that density to read as true black without any grey show-through from the stabiliser. Stick to light cutaway knits and denim, the directional fill on the body really benefits from a firm base. Topping helps on velvet or any textured surface.

One customer ordered this on a black denim jacket lining which I thought was brilliant, the design reads as a tonal silhouette which looks more sophisticated than a full-colour version would on dark fabric. The 5 inch size is my most popular for jacket backs and tote bags. Pop it on a linen cushion cover in the 7 inch version and the colour work in the eyes becomes a real focal point. Avoid going under 3.5 inches on anything with fine satin detail, the eye highlights compress and lose definition.

Drop me a note if a file format isnt working for your machine and Ill send the correct one right away.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
