This monogram frame keeps things minimal. Theres one thin ring, no double outline, just a clean single circle with small elongated teardrop shapes scattered at intervals around it, like little buds or leaf tips. The big statement is the butterfly at the bottom right, a large satin-filled monarch that overlaps the ring edge, wings spread with white dot spots near the tips and fine linear veining through the wing panels. It looks genuinely elegant on fabric, not overly decorated.
Single colour throughout, no thread swaps. I digitised it so the ring runs first as a clean line, then the teardrop accents, then the butterfly body and wings last so the wing edges sit cleanly over the ring. 4 sizes from 3.5 x 3.39 inches at about 4,923 stitches up to 6.5 x 6.28 inches at 9,894. Use a cutaway stabiliser if youre stitching on jersey or stretch fabric, tearaway works fine on cotton or linen.
Customers email me about this one for wedding table linens and anniversary gifts where they want something clean and personalised without looking fussy. Last April a customer ordered this for napkin sets for her daughters wedding reception, she used navy thread on cream linen and stitched a different initial on each set of 8 napkins. Email me if you want advice on thread weight for the butterfly satin sections and Ill point you in the right direction.
Try it on cream, white, or pale grey fabric and pick a thread colour that has abit of contrast. Dont go too dark on the fabric or the teardrop details disappear. Skip topping on smooth woven cotton, use a water-soluble topping on terry or waffle weave. Centre the design carefully before hooping because the butterfly placement off to one side means a shifted hoop will show.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
