And its one of those where the butterfly feels like its actually just landed there for a second. The wings are spread wide, built up in lavender satin with fine directional vein lines running through each panel. A sage green vine curves left to right across the whole composition, slightly sinuous, with four or five dusty rose five-petal garden blooms scattered along it. Small curling leaf pairs fill the gaps between the flowers. Its a horizontal design, widest at 7.51 inches and tallest at 3.67 inches at max size.

Ive had alot of customers order this for linen table runners and cream cotton hand towels, and it makes total sense visually because the horizontal vine shape fits those long narrow items so well. Last summer one customer in the UK Stitched this at 5 inches across a set of ivory napkins for a wedding shower and said the lavender satin caught the light beautifully at the table. Thats the kind of botanical placement where this one really pays off.

4 colours in the sequence: lavender for the wings first, then sage green for the vine and leaves, then dusty rose for the blooms, then a deeper tone for the vein line detail. You need cutaway stabiliser here, not tearaway, because the satin column density in the wings is high and tearaway will let the stitches pull and shift during the green vine pass. Hoop tightly on cream linen or ivory cotton, make sure the topping is smooth before you start the lavender, and check bobbin tension early because the underlay under those satin columns is doing serious work.

9 sizes from 1.71 x 3.51 inches up to 3.67 x 7.51 inches. Stitch counts run from 13,264 to 29,267 so the bigger sizes take time but the density at 1062 is what gives the wings their dimension. digitising tools handled the colour sequencing carefully, the vein lines come in last so they sit right on top of the satin rather than getting buried. Skip any fabric with a lot of texture because the fine vein lines will disappear into a loose weave.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
