So this one is cropped on purpose. No full face, no neck, no hair. Just the bottom two thirds: one eye with that heavy black liner flick, the long lash row sweeping outward, a sculpted dark brow above it, the faintest soft grey shadow at the nose, and then the red lips taking up the lower quarter. Its a composition that fashion designers use in print all the time but its unusual in embroidery and thats exactly why it works on fabric.

The brow is dense black satin stitched with a slight diagonal grain so the hairs look like they actually follow the arch. The liner is a thin curved satin strip along the upper lid tapering to the outer flick. Lashes extend beyond the lid in individual directional columns, some crossing slightly, so they read as mascara-heavy real lashes not a single flat lash bar. The lips are the most detail-heavy part: upper and lower lip each have their own satin direction so the fill reads as 3D, and theres a thin highlight break at the centre where the lips part that keeps them from looking flat.

Four colour stops: black brow and liner, black lash, grey nose shadow, red lips. Density is 482 stitches per square inch, mid-weight for a portrait, stitch count 6,877 to 17,509 across the 5 sizes. Sizes run 3-in through 7.5in width, heights 2.26 to 4.84. Its wider than tall because of the horizontal crop. A customer who makes streetwear pieces ran the 6-inch in white thread on a black tee last month and said it looked like a screen print until people got close enough to see the thread texture.

Best fabric is smooth tightly woven cotton, canvas or a stable jersey with cutaway backing. White, cream, blush or black all work but that lip colour pops hardest on pale or very dark grounds. Avoid anything with a surface texture that breaks up the fine lash lines. Medium cutaway on everything, the lip satin is dense enough that tearaway wont hold it flat. Keep bobbin tension checked before you start, the lash columns are narrow enough that any bobbin drift shows on the finished piece. Text me the order number and Ill rebuild the registration.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
