I started digitising floral bouquet designs back in february and this one took me alot longer than I expected. Ten colours sounds like alot for a bouquet but when you actually look at how flowers are built, the petal underlay, the fill zones, the leaf directional sections, it makes sense pretty quick. The largest size runs 29,919 stitches at 7.5 inches wide, and the smallest drops down to 1,007 stitches at 3.5 inches, so theres a size for basically any project you want to put it on.

And the density sits at 82 across the design, which I deliberately kept on the lighter side so the petals dont bulk up when you hoop a thinner fabric. Stitch it on linen or a medium-weight cotton and youll see exactly what I mean, the colours pop without that stiff cardboard feel you get when density runs too high. Use a cutaway stabiliser for anything stretchy. Skip iron-on backing on lightweight fabrics or the petal detail distorts under the heat.

I get messages from customers asking about petal blending on multi-colour designs alot, so I want to be clear: this runs as straight colour stops, not needle-in colour blending. Ten stops, straightforward. Run through each colour change and youre good. The bouquet centres use a tight satin for the rose cores and a looser fill stitch on the surrounding petals to keep them from merging visually. Pick a bobbin colour close to the dominant petal shade and you wont see pullback on the underside.

Nine sizes from 3.5 reaching 7.5 inches wide, digitised in Wilcom, comes in all 8 formats. Holler if you need a size that isnt in the set and Ill see what I can do.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Left chest placement on linen blouseLinen blouse chest placement where the petals catch light on the bias weave differently from every angle.
  • Tote bag front panel centredQuilt block corner that needs a botanical accent without competing with the main patchwork pattern.
  • Quilt block corner accent stitchThe bigger sizes reward a heavier cotton canvas tote since the petal fills have real weight to them.
  • Kitchen towel hem border designCotton flour-sack works clean at small sizes, and the low density means no puckering on the towel hem.
  • Wedding table runner embroideryTable runner on natural linen at the full width, bouquet centred at each end, formal enough for a wedding table.
  • Throw pillow cover centre motifThrow pillow cover on a 16-inch insert, the ten colours coordinate with most neutral living-room palettes.
  • Baby blanket corner floral accentBaby blanket corner at the smallest size, cutaway backing so the flower edges stay stable through washing.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
