Right so this one surprised me a bit when it came out of the machine. The paw pads are done in a dense packed satin fill, four small oval toe pads above and the large central heel pad below, all properly solid and bold. But then coming off the sides are these delicate open outline flowers, the petals barely stitched, just a thin column stitch tracing the shape, with small leaf sprigs filling the negative space between them. The contrast between the dense filled pads and the airy outline flowers is what makes it work, its got that hand-drawn botanical tattoo quality where it looks more like art than a typical pet design.
One colour only. The whole thing runs as a single-thread sequence which means almost no stops and very clean back stitching. Swap the thread colour to anything and its still gonna look right. Try navy on cream, or forest green on white, or burgundy on natural linen. Ive run this on canvas, cotton and denim and all three came out exactly as expected. Density is 563 stitches per square inch which is firm enough for the filled pads to sit flush without pulling, and the open flower sections stitch up quickly because theyre sparse outlines. Use a medium cutaway stabiliser and dont skip the topping if youre going onto any textured surface.
Five sizes from 3.51 by 3.41 inches up to 7.51 by 7.29. That near-square proportion means it sits naturally centred on most items without needing much adjustment. Pick the medium 5-inch for tote bags and shirts, its the one most customers order first. The largest works well on cushion centres or jacket back panels. Last november I had a run of memorial orders for this design and every single one finished perfectly on the first pass. What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Pet memorial keepsake cushion or toteA customer stitched the large size on a natural linen cushion as a memorial for her dog and said the single-colour black on natural linen looked exactly like something from a botanical gift shop
- Dog mum or cat mum shirt personalisationThe medium 5-inch on a white shirt is the go-to for dog mum gifts; one colour means you can pick the thread to match the customers actual dogs colour, which several buyers have done
- Veterinary clinic staff uniform embroideryVet clinic staff have used this on navy scrub tops in white thread; the floral paw reads professional without being too cartoon-cute for a clinical setting
- Pet rescue fundraiser merchandiseFor a rescue fundraiser shirt run, single-colour designs print and embroider cheaply in bulk while still looking considered; this one avoids the generic paw silhouettes most rescue merch uses
- Dog walker or pet sitter apron brandingEmbroider the small 3-inch on a canvas apron pocket for a dog walker or pet sitter as a client gift; keep it in their brand colour for extra personalisation
- Pet loss sympathy gift hoop frameStitch on cream cotton in a round hoop, write the pets name and dates on a small tag below, and you have a sympathy gift that feels genuinely thoughtful without being heavy-handed
- Monochrome pet-themed wedding favour pouchesFor a pet-themed wedding where the couple is bringing their dogs into the day, stitch this on small favour pouches in a single colour matching the wedding palette
- Animal shelter volunteer jacket patchesAnimal shelter volunteers have used this on jacket arms in olive thread on khaki fabric; its subtle enough for public-facing work but clearly shows what the team cares about

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
