This lady silhouette is a lil more polished than most of the basic profile designs out there. The hair is swept up and back in a way that gives the shape height and drama, and the neck and shoulder line flows in this long elegant curve. Theres no face detail, just the clean profile shape, which is actually what makes it work on so many different things.
Only two colour threads here but the directional stitching does alot of the work. The satin fill on the head and hair section follows the natural flow so it doesnt look flat. Even at the smaller 3 inch size the outline stays crisp. Last christmas a customer ordered this on champagne-coloured evening bags as gifts for her bridesmaids, nine of them, and they all came out brilliant.
Five sizes from 3.16 inches up to 6.78 inches wide. The smallest has around 8,500 stitches, the largest comes up to about 32,000 so its got some density at the top end. Use a cutaway stabiliser for any stretch fabric. For cotton, silk, or satin fabric a tearaway works fine. Hoop tight and keep tension even since the long satin columns can pull if the fabric shifts.
Looks sharp on navy bags, black totes, cream pouch sets, grey jersey tees. Skip busy patterned fabric as the silhouette needs contrast to read properly. Pair with an embroidered name or date beside it for a personalised gift piece.
Drop me a message if you want a colour swap or need a size tweak, Im happy to take a look.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Bridal party gift pouchesStitch the 4-in detail on a set of cream cotton pouches for bridesmaids, pair with an embroidered name for each one.
- Fashion boutique tote bagsOn the front of a navy canvas tote bag this silhouette reads like something from a proper fashion label, not a craft market.
- Black jersey tee chest printPop it on the left chest of a plain black jersey tee at the 3 inch size for a clean fashion-forward casual piece.
- Personalised gift cushionA large version centred on a plain linen cushion with a name below it makes an easy personalised birthday or anniversary gift.
- Satin evening bag accentThe 4 inch design on a small charcoal satin evening bag gives it a boutique finish that feels genuinely luxurious.
- Hair salon apron brandingUse the medium size on the bib of a plain apron as a subtle brand mark for a beauty or hair salon.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
