Sketched in this one as more of a typographic piece with the starfish doing the decorating rather than dominating. The phrase runs in a big flowing cursive, teal-aqua for most of the letters and the word "better" gets the biggest treatment right in the centre, that italic swoop with the long descending tail is what draws the eye first. Two red-orange starfish with white dot detail sit on either side of the composition, one upper right and one lower left, balanced but not perfectly symmetrical which is what keeps it from looking stiff.
Five colours: the teal script, orange accents, red for the starfish main fill, white for the spot details, and theres a second orange-red pass on the starfish so they have actual dimension. Ran in Wilcom with a density of 478, which is on the lighter side, so its suprised me how crisp the lettering reads even on the small 3-in hoop at 9,466 stitches. The full 7.05-inch version runs 23,627 stitches across 4 colour changes. Tearaway stabiliser handles this fine on firm wovens.
The reason I like this version over a block-text beach quote is the script makes it feel personal, like someone with good handwriting just wrote it on there. One customer sent me a photo this summer after running the 5-inch version on the corner of a white linen beach bag, said it looked like something from a boutique shop. Use a lightweight cutaway for any stretch fabric so the script baseline doesnt distort during wear.
Add it to linen tote bags, summer tees, beach cover-ups, pillow covers, and porch cushions. White, sand and light grey fabrics are the best ground colours. Avoid hooping over seam lines for the large version, the script track needs a flat surface to stay even.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Summer throw pillow coversThe 7-inch version fills a 20-inch square pillow cover with a elegant coastal feel.
- White cotton beach cover-upsOn a white cotton cover-up the teal script reads cleanly against the bright background.
- Porch and outdoor cushion coversOutdoor cushion covers in canvas handle the density fine with a medium tearaway back.
- Guest bathroom towelsThe 4-in build works well on a guest towel corner and adds a boutique touch to a coastal bathroom.
- Coastal wall hoop artHooped in a 8-inch ring the starfish and script composition frames itself naturally.
- Personalised summer gift bagsThe small 3-in hoop run on a muslin gift bag makes a thoughtful summer present wrap.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
