She sent me a note last december saying shed been searching for something with antlers that wasnt just a cartoon reindeer, and this one is basically the opposite of that. The antlers are bold orange, a proper deer-rack shape curving wide on both sides, and they frame a rough brush-script 'Merry Christmas' right in the centre. At the base where the antlers meet theres a small cluster of dark green holly with deep red berry dots, which keeps it christmas without going full traditional.

Tape your fabric behind the hoop with a tearaway before you start, the brush-texture fill on the letters needs a stable base or the edges go soft at 3 or 4 inches. Stitch out runs 10,229 at the smallest 2.44 x 3.51 inch size up to 22,481 at the full 5.23 x 7.51 inches. Four colours, three changes. Dont rush through the colour sequence since each layer builds on the one before it.

Its a lighter stitch count at the smaller sizes so it finishes fast, handy if youre batch-making christmas stockings or a run of tote bags and need to keep turnaround tight. Orange reads really sharply against dark navy or forest green fabric. Darker fabrics also hide small jump tails between sections, which helps when youre working through a batch. Drop me a message if anything looks off and Ill sort it.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Christmas stockings with a woodland or hunting themeThe tall 7.51-inch size fills a stocking front beautifully in cream or burlap fabric with the orange antlers as the focal point
  • Holiday sweatshirts and hooded pulloversStitch at the 5-in across the dark green or navy crewneck for a holiday sweatshirt that doesnt look generic
  • Seasonal tote bags for gift wrappingNatural canvas tote bags in tan or cream show the four-colour sequence really clearly, great for gift presentation
  • Winter cabin decor on throw pillowsA medium 4-inch run on a flax pillow cover works for cabin or lodge-style christmas decor with a rustic edge
  • Rustic Christmas tree skirt panelsUse the largest size on individual fabric panels and assemble into a patchwork tree skirt with a coordinated look
  • Kids Christmas pyjama tops or yokesAt the 3-inch size it fits neatly on a chest pocket panel of kids fleece pyjamas without distorting the fabric
  • Holiday bandanas or pet accessoriesThe compact sizes work on pet bandanas, especially for dogs owned by hunters or outdoor-lifestyle households

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
