This one is a bit more refined than your typical nurse design. The word NURSE sits in bold lettering, but its surrounded by fine floral detailing, trailing leaves and blossoms that soften the whole thing without making it look fussy. The overall style is somewhere between botanical and typographic, and it reads beautifully in black thread on any light fabric. I did this one specifically for people who wanted something to give as a gift that felt considered, not like a novelty item from a gift shop.

No dimension data is attached but florals with text like this typically run in the 6 to 8 thousand stitch range across sizes. Black monochrome is the standard way to run it, though a dusty rose or deep teal works nicely too for a softer look. Density is around 4.5 spi so the fill areas and the fine floral lines both stitch cleanly. Cutaway stabiliser on jersey scrubs, tearaway on woven fabrics like canvas tote bags and linen jackets.

This places well on a tote bag panel, the back of a denim jacket, or a chest pocket on a scrub top. A customer ordered this for nurse appreciation week and ran it on six canvas tote bags for her entire ward team, said they were a huge hit. If you want to run the floral sections in a slightly lighter thread than the text, it adds a nice layered feel without any extra complexity.

  • Denim jacket back panelThe back yoke of a denim jacket gives the floral detail room to show at full scale.
  • Left chest scrub top placementA chest pocket placement in black on white scrubs looks crisp and professional for any shift.
  • Canvas zip pouch nurse gift setSmall canvas zip pouches paired with a little hand cream make a fast nurse thank-you gift set.
  • Cotton apron front centerCentered on a cross-back apron front, this reads as both practical and pretty for a healthcare cafe setting.
  • Linen tote bag center panelNatural linen tote bags in this design come out looking almost vintage in the best way.
  • Framed hoop art nurse office decorStretched and framed in a 5-inch hoop, this makes a quiet decorative piece for a nurse's office or break room.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
