Its the word Mama written out in proper calligraphy script, the kind where the M has those wide sweeping legs and the letters connect into one fluid line right through to the last a. Alot of script designs try this and end up looking clunky, but the letterform spacing here is genuinely done well. The tails on the a extend just long enough to feel elegant without going overboard.

Two colours keep it clean. The lettering reads sharp on cream or white cotton and the satin column work on the stroke edges is tight enough that you wont get that fuzzy halo effect you sometimes see on thinner script fonts. Stitch count runs from 1910 on the smallest 3-inch size up to 6026 on the full 8-inch version. And theres no jump stitch clutter in the middle of the word, digitised properly through Wilcom EmbroideryStudio.

Last May I got a bunch of messages from people who had used this on blush cotton tees and linen totes and couldnt believe how clean the letters stitch out. Hoop on smooth woven cotton and use tear-away stabiliser for best letter crispness. Skip stretch jersey for the smaller sizes because the satin columns can distort if the hooping isnt rock solid. Centre the word carefully before you lock down the hoop.

Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
