Three tulips, all facing forward, grouped in a circle of arching leaves. The one in the centre is the tallest and its the deepest colour, a proper deep rose almost crimson, with layers of petals opening just slightly at the top. The two flanking it are coral-peach, softer and a little shorter, so the arrangement has a natural rise and fall to it. Around the base and sides the leaf sprays curl into a loose circle, and tucked into the lower corners are small lavender bud shapes that I think are the part most people dont notice until they look closely.

The petal fills are done with dense satin stitching running vertically on the central tulip and at a slight diagonal on the coral ones, which is what gives each bloom its own depth. The leaves use directional fill aswell, so they dont look flat and paper-thin. Total stitch count runs from about 13k on the small 3.5-inch up to nearly 39k on the full 7.5-inch, so the bigger sizes have proper weight and texture. Realise this is on the denser end but the detail earns it.

I built this design after visiting a tulip festival in spring and honestly the grouping of colours was directly inspired by a stall I stopped at. My mum has stitched this one on a white linen table runner for her dining room and it photographs beautifully. People at her book club keep asking where she got it, she tells em she made it and they dont beleive her.

Stitch it on white or cream linen, ivory cotton or oatmeal canvas for maximum contrast. The lavender accents pop nicely against a warm white ground. Avoid anything too pale green or the leaves vanish. Try the 7.5-inch version centred on a cushion cover or table runner. Pop the 3.5-inch on a tote pocket or tea towel corner as a botanical accent.

Use a cutaway stabiliser for the denser petal sections, especially on the full 7-inch and above. Hoop firm on linen because the satin columns need a stable base or the edges pucker. Keep your needle size at 75/11 for clean entry through the dense fill. If the file gives you trouble just drop me a line and ill check it over.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Linen table runners for spring weddingsStitch the 7-inch design centred on a white linen table runner for a spring wedding reception and it photographs like a professional florist arrangement.
  • Floral cushion covers for living roomsEmbroider onto an ivory canvas cushion cover and the three-tone tulip palette works with almost any neutral sofa colour.
  • Tote bags for tulip festival vendorsRun a medium piece on a cream cotton tote and sell alongside fresh tulip bunches at a spring flower market.
  • Tea towel corner accentsStitch the small 3.5-inch into a lower corner of a linen tea towel and fold it so just the blooms peek out when displayed.
  • Mothers Day gift napkins and placematsEmbroider a set of 4 matching napkins with the 4-inch version for a mothers day table gift, she can use em all year.
  • Botanical throw pillow for bedroom decorRun the 6-inch on a throw pillow and place it on a white bed against pale sage walls for a spring bedroom refresh.
  • Spring wreath embroidery wall hoopsHoop the 5-inch in a 6-inch frame and hang above a reading chair as a simple botanical art piece.
  • Cotton apron bib for garden-themed eventsStitch onto a cream cotton apron bib for a garden party host and add a simple name embroidery below the bouquet.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
