Its a five-tulip bouquet, 2 colors, stems loosely crossed the way you'd actually hold them if someone just handed them to you off the street. The petals are still cupped, not splayed open, so its caught at that moment just before full bloom. Heavy black contour lines with hatching layered inside each petal give the whole thing real dimension, like a botanical print that somehow ended up on fabric.

I sell a lot of these to people doing home linen sets, its been a steady one since I first listed it. Last spring tulip designs were my top-selling floral by a fair margin. Hoop with a medium-weight cutaway if youre putting this on anything stretchy. Use standard tearaway on woven cotton or linen, thats what I'd go with for pillowcases. Stitch the 7 inch version for a pillowcase center panel, it comes out beautifully, and pop the 3.5 inch size on a pocket square corner if you want something more subtle.

Two colors only, grey fill and black outline. And actually thats what gives it that clean botanical-print feel rather than looking like a generic clipart flower. The grey sits underneath, the black draws the eye. Swap the grey for any soft color and you get a completely different mood.

9 sizes from 3.5 inches up to 7.5 inches wide, 17,983 to 35,607 stitches. Both colors listed in the included PDF so youre not guessing thread numbers.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Linen tote bags with a botanical garden themeThe tall vertical composition fills a tote corner or center panel without crowding the space.
  • Pillowcases and duvet covers for floral bedroom setsThe 7 inch version sits well centered on a standard pillowcase without hitting the seams.
  • Kitchen towels and cotton napkinsStitch it on flour sack towels in the 4 inch size, the linework stays crisp after washing.
  • Pocket squares for spring wedding groomsmen giftsThe smaller 3.5 inch version fits neatly on a pocket square fold without trimming the design.
  • Canvas pouches and makeup bagsGreat on a zippered canvas pouch, the bouquet reads clearly even at smaller stitch sizes.
  • Garden aprons or gardening glove cuffsThe elongated stem grouping suits a long apron panel down the front center seam.
  • wall-hoop frame for a living room wallStretched in a 10 inch wooden hoop with natural linen, it looks like framed botanical art.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
