The underlay on line art like this is everything -- if its under-stitched the lines look thin and wobbly, but Ive run proper satin underlay along every stroke so the final result looks tight. Use a medium cutaway stabiliser and the design holds its shape through washing without any distortion on the curves of the face. Stitch on denim or canvas without a topping, the weave is dense enough that the outline satin sits right on the surface. Avoid lightweight jersey for this one -- the pull from the satin sections causes the lines to shift unless you go heavy on the cutaway.

Best uses Ive seen for this: left chest on a plain black or white t-shirt, the front panel of a structured tote, or a small zip pouch for a fashion gift set.
