The elephant is sitting down, both little front legs wrapped around a big red heart thats nearly as wide as its body. The body is slate grey with directional fill stitching that kinda just follows the rounded curves of the belly and head, so it reads soft and alive, not flat. Big round ears sit out to either side, done in a lighter pink shade with satin edging so theyre really really delicate against the grey. Five colours: slate grey body, soft pink ears, red heart, pale pink heart highlight swirl, and black outline detail.

The heart itself has a white diagonal swirl across it to give that shiny-toy look, like a glossy sticker on a babys board book. The elephant has tiny dot eyes and a small curly trunk tip, which is honestly what makes the whole thing feel like a plush toy and not just a flat graphic. At 33,990 stitches on the biggest size its properly detailed for nursery work, and its worth the stitch time.

I get messages from baby shower planners and new mum gift shops asking for designs that work on soft fabric without going stiff. This one digitises well on cotton interlock and minky fleece because the density is spread across rounded shapes and not dense columns. One customer ordered the 5.69-inch size on a white minky baby blanket for a valentines baby shower in february and sent me photos. It photographed beautifully on that soft white pile.

Pop the small 2.66-inch on a cotton bib or a newborn onesie. Use the medium on a muslin swaddle corner or a nursery cushion. Avoid stretchy jersey on the larger size because 33k stitches needs a stable base. Use a cutaway stabiliser on everything here, the rounded fills need it to stay crisp through washes.

Pair with a pale sage or cream background for the softest nursery look. White or pale pink cotton also works great for valentines baby gifts. Skip bright saturated backgrounds because the grey body can look muddy against anything too bold.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
